At its core, value-added printing means that a printed piece is not just a sheet of paper, but gains an added value that goes beyond mere information. The goal of value-added printing is to enable the recipient to use the printed product as a sort of “hub” for multichannel information across all media channels, thereby providing access to additional information. The result is a lasting impactthat systematic intensification of communication, expanded reach and increasing the relevance and impact of the information/advertising message and increased recall and thus increasing the desirability of the advertised product/service. Value-added printing involves adding features to print products to encourage the user to engage more deeply with the print product. These features can include multiple (or combined) approaches. Ultimately, it is about the conceptual presentation of the diverse possibilities.
