Best Practice
for your business
The special "Highlight Guide" format at PRINT DIGITAL CONVENTION showcases best practices and creative applications. Exhibitors come together here to demonstrate the wide range of possibilities for implementing their product highlights.
Various scenarios are available, showcasing printing technology, software applications, finishing highlights, cross-media, and marketing measures for brands and products in the context of a campaign. The project implementations are embedded in real brand demonstrations and a showcase of all communication elements, some of which are produced live at the trade fair.
WE.LOVE.PRINT—
Affirmation cards
PRINT MOTIVATES
Our world is becoming louder and more selfish—and at the same time, many people feel increasingly isolated. Self-esteem and self-confidence suffer as a result. This is true for both children and adults.
Print can make a difference here.
TheWE.LOVE.PRINT affirmation cards bring positive thoughts into everyday life in a natural way. Their constant presence reminds us how courageous, unique, and valuable each and every one of us is. And because everyone should be able to appreciate them, the affirmations are also printed in Braille. This makes positive messages tangible, accessible, inclusive, and directly experienceable for people with visual impairments.
To keep. To strengthen. And, of course, to give away.

WE.LOVE.PRINT -
SPEED
PRINT MAKES A DIFFERENCE
Speed, precision, and passion—motorsports evoke emotions that resonate deeply with people. We harness this very energy through theWE.LOVE.PRINT – SPEEDproject, transforming print into a dynamic, immersive experience.
At the center of the event area is the original race car from the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup, along with a professional racing simulator. Here, visitors have the opportunity to drive a lap themselves and compete against the hot lap set by race car driverGian Luca Tüccaroglu. Whoever comes closest to this time wins an exclusive meet-and-greet at a race of their choice during the current 2026 Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup season.
The print materials also offer a visual experience: The entire promotional area features a racing-themed design, complemented by themed floor graphics that immerse visitors directly in the world of speed and competition. In addition, there are limited-edition print products—including caps and two strictly limited-edition posters, some of which are signed.
Access to the simulator is digital and straightforward: visitors can use a QR code to book their personal time slot and secure their spot on the virtual racetrack.
WE.LOVE.PRINT – SPEED demonstrates how print becomes not just something to be seen, but something to be experienced—serving as a bridge between emotion, interaction, and real-life encounters.

PDC Editions Wine and
Sparkling wine labels
PRINT protects brands
For this year’s PRINT DIGITAL CONVENTION, the WE.LOVE.PRINT initiative, in collaboration with Messe Düsseldorf, the Media Production Trade Association, KURZ, SCRIBOS, and the Hotsushi agency, is organizing a special PDC wine and sparkling wine edition.
Labels play an immensely important role at the point of sale—their design attracts attention on the shelf and conveys the brand’s image and perceived value. Through targeted finishing techniques, this effect gains even greater depth: they give the label a distinctive visual and tactile quality, enhance the perceived exclusivity, and allow consumers to immediately experience the brand’s character. At the same time, the legally regulated information on the label is strictly mandated. And last but not least, the label, in conjunction with the bottle and the rest of the packaging, is a key branding tool. Anyone marketing wine must take into account trademark law, protection of origin, and food labeling regulations.
The EU Directive 2021/2117 requires that ingredients and nutritional values must also be declared on wines. The directive allows this to be done in the form of a QR code on the back label: the information must be immediately visible after scanning, and it is not permitted to collect user data or link marketing information to it.
From 2027, the Digital Product Passport (DPP) will become mandatory for the first product groups in the EU. These are batteries (car/industrial batteries), textiles, electronics, aluminum/steel. From 2030, it is to be extended to other product categories.
Background: As part of the Green Deal, the EU wants to promote transparency and sustainability. This should enable consumers to compare products and make informed decisions. A QR code is to be applied which, when scanned, displays the following information: product information (manufacturer, type/category, weight, etc.), carbon footprint, materials and composition (ingredients, hazard warnings, etc.), supply chain information (where manufactured, no child labor, etc.), recycling information (proportion of recycled materials, list of components, manuals on how to recycle), performance and durability (lifespan).
In addition, this information is also to be uploaded to an EU database.
More info.
We’ll show you how to best meet these requirements. And at PDC-NIGHT, you can also taste .
